Dude, shipping for this hog will probably approach $100 and I believe new amps of this kind sell for less than $450, I got my Crate for that and it has a three way switch, bunch of digital effects and such.
A. more reasonable price would be helpful and
b. Sell it on Craigslist locally, shipping these things around the country makes the price very unattractive so try to sell it to someone who can pick it up.
Good luck

Actually that price isn't bad considering what they used to sell for brand new, but yeah shipping is gonna be more than most people are willing to pay. Though at $450 its still slightly cheaper than what its only real comparable amps that i can think of will go for brand new. I definately would suggest craigslist also shipping was the main reason i didn't list my backline 210 on here. You know i was searching for the Head version of this combo for the longest while cuz i thought that my guitar sounded sick through this amp .. espcially on the distortion channel, but thought the 15" speaker was too bassy so wanted to be able to pair it with adifferent cab. So needless to say this thing sounded pretty good on bass as well.

Actually, you are right monkey, I was thinking of a differently speced Crate amp. Still, I think there's better luck to be had locally, not having to pay for the shipping. I know I shipped my electric drum kit from Mi to NC and it was over $100, a little bulkier than an amp (not much) but much lighter.
I know i only go locl for instrument puchases, unless it´s a guitar, for drums, amps etc I would go Craigslist rather than deal with shipping.

Yeah, I've posted it on craigslist, and this is the response for it... lol.

Hey, I saw the post on Craigslist.

I would like you to know that my co-worker became un-employed recently because of the downsizing not too long ago. However, he found a way to make money online from home after reading an online news article

He is earning 8,000 dollars each month now working online with Google.

You should view the online article:

Many people such as yourself have changed their lives after reading, and I am sure you can benefit from it.

Hope to hear your success!

Jeez, if this guy is making 8 grand a month, can't at least buy your amp then? lol
If you happen to live in NC we can discuss the amp further, but I'm petty sure you don't, but when you make 8 grand a month from this exclusive magic scheme, that he's telling everyone about, you can just keep the amp.

lol gotta love CL, I got one of those as well too from vairous Craigslist listings. And i thought that thing about scams and dealing locally was them being overly caucious but it seems with t the last few items i listed on there i had atleast one person offering to send me a check for a little more than the ammount of what i am selling for and that they will take care of all shipping expensives and will send someone by to pick it up. I am about to relist my backline 210 and a couple other items in a bit i'll post any of those replies here if i get any lol.

so as promised here are my CL replies

I saw that stuff you're selling to get some extra cash.  I thought i'd
help you out and let you know about my brother in-law who got laid off
because of downsizing last month.  He was put in a horrible situation
since he has 2 kids and a wife to care for.  With no job he looked for
an alternative, and he found it.  Now he's making an extra 5000$ a
month.
He made a blog about his whole experience and it has gotten a ton of
publicity.  If you have 10  seconds of your time to spare I bet you'll
benefit from reading his blog.  God bless you and I hope you had a
great weekend!
Oh here's the link to it:

and the 2nd one

Hey it's Sarah here,

I'm wondering why you're selling your stuff on Craigslist when you
could keep it. I know your possessions are very valuable to you and it
probably stinks to have to sell it. I used to be in this situation
myself. I remember having to sell my sons Playstation 3 just to make
rent and be able to put food on the table for my children that month.
Those were the worst months for my family. Then my brother showed me
this newspaper article:

http://www.online-weekly-gazette2.com

Now I've come back to let everyone avoid the same situation I was in.
Now I have more time to spend with my kids and money to give them the
fun they deserve. Take a look at my brothers' blog and change your
situation, you have nothing to lose:

You think they really know each other?? lol
